The mobile phone and communication industry at large has taken great strides of advancement than anyone could think. With the industrious advent of the mobile phone technology, users from all over the world are constantly on the move. People from all regions have become extremely techno-savvy nowadays. It is not possible for us to think about the world we are living without our smartphones and even personal computers. As a matter of fact, the invention of the internet has turned the world into a global village. For instance, an event that has just taken place in Canada cannot take five more minutes before South Africans get the whole story.
The development of applications that are used in our phones has helped to advance the communication sector. Social media programs like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the unstoppable Snapchat have taken over. However, every application has its unique way of operating and sharing files to the people within our circle. This is the reason why I have written the following steps on how to upload files from your phone gallery to Snapchat.
Snapchat is widely known through its yellow icon that has got a white ghost on the home screen. If you are using a smartphone, you can launch Snapchat application by tapping the icon. For a PC Blustacks emulator user, you should double click on the Bluestack icon and click on the Snapchat. Always make sure your internet connection is great to continue.
After launching the Snapchat application, swipe left to access your camera roll from the snap section. You will see your listed photos and videos. Note that when you tap a blue Chat icon at the bottom left corner of the screen, you will still get to the Chat screen. You may see two icons at the bottom of the screen. If you want to make the memories, you should tap on the smaller icon.
Tap the Gallery icon
After swiping to the left, it will automatically open your snap gallery. Make sure that you tap the select icon. After selecting your video or photo, you will then see a tick on you selected snap.
Select a photo or video
After tapping at the gallery, select the photo or video you would like to upload. You will again notice a blue tick on the file’s top left corner. If you like adding filters or want to edit with text and textures to your selected photo or video, you will require Snapchat filters and texts. Tap Edit at the bottom of the screen display to make your preferred changes to the file you have selected.
Snapchat does not support editing of Videos that are longer than 10 seconds. You can always upload more photos at a time through tapping at the additional photos. When uploading more than one photo, you may not be able to use the Editing feature on your application.
Tap the Send icon
Finally, you can start uploading your photos and videos to Snapchat. For you to successfully upload your video or photo to Snapchat, you will first need to save it. However, you are not required to save your video on Android devices. If your video is within the required duration on Snapchat, you can proceed on uploading by tapping the send button. The send button looks like a blue airplane paper at the right of the screen. Then your selected photo or video snap gallery will appear in your chat.
